Per Erik Burkhardt & Mike Garafolo, safety Marcus Maye has signed his franchise tag tender with the New York Jets.
With the acceptance of the tag, Maye now temporarily counts at $10.6 million on the 2021 salary cap.
The two sides have until July to work out a long-term contract or that $10.6 million for one year will become locked.
