How do you summarize a game like this. You don’t, most Jet fans are feeling right now and that emotional lashings consists of an ugly mixture of fire the coach’s,GM and anyone involved. Yes, on days like this every painful loss seem to combine into a miasma who’s primary side effect is self loathing.
No number of calming phrases can clean this mess up neither is all this doomsday scenario’s. One thing is very clear, this coaching staff’s plan will either keep tanking or it will at some point start getting better. There are legit questions about scheme and personnel, asking those questions isn’t a bad thing. Why doesn’t Saleh change the aggressive nature of his defensive line so it spares the linebacking core and bad safety play? Maybe he believes that at some point these guys are going to get so good at his scheme that it will iron it self out.
unfortunately Jets fans have no patience and need wins and progress now. That need clashes with reality. These are a brand new set of characters playing the same game but to Jets fans that doesn’t matter. Time is needed and the Jets fans have none to give. How does this whole thing get rectified? Organically.
