Jets Sign LB Jarrad Davis to 1 Year deal

Joe Douglas and co have their first signing of Free Agency… and its Jarrad Davis! According to Ian Rapoport, the Jets inked the former Lions linebacker to a 1 year, $7M deal. The contract has a base salary of $5.5M.

Davis is coming off a career best year and a PFF coverage grade of 72 in 2020. He saw limited snaps but figures to start at OLB for the Jets. Davis will team up with CJ Mosley on the second level and should be an improvement over Neville Hewitt and the LB core of a season ago.

Its a steady start for Gang Green , who no doubt have bigger fish to fry!
